When you join the EGOS waitlist, you give us your email address. This page explains what else we collect with it, what we use it for and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
When you submit the waitlist form, we store:
- Your email address
- The date and time you signed up
- The page you signed up from and the page that linked you to it, if your browser shares it
- Your approximate country, which our hosting provider works out from your IP address. We don't store the IP address itself
- Your browser and device type, as your browser reports it
We don't ask for your name, phone number or payment details.
What we use it for
We use your email only to tell you about early access and the EGOS launch. The other details help us see where sign-ups come from and spot spam. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers or use it for ad targeting.
We process your data because you asked to join the waitlist and agreed to receive these emails. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.
Where it's stored
Two providers handle this data for us:
- Vercel hosts this website and passes your sign-up to our list
- Google stores the waitlist in a private Google Sheet that only the EGOS team can open
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set cookies and doesn't use advertising or tracking scripts. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete them, or we close the waitlist, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Every email we send will include an unsubscribe link. To make a request, email us at info@egos.com from the address you signed up with. We reply within 30 days.
If you're in the EU or UK and think we've handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email you first.
